Last year I spent my holidays to Japan. I really enjoyed it! I have spent there best week of my life. When I returned, Japan was in my mind all the time. I fell in love with its culture, fashion and everything connected with this country. I started to read Japanese books, preparing Japanese meals and getting more and more familiar with Japanese movies. I am aware that this might sound a little weird but I couldn’t help it. If I only could, I would probably move to Japan. Unfortunately, for various commitments, I just couldn’t. In consequence, I was doing my best to surround myself with as many Japanese objects as possible.

Many my colleagues were aware of my Japanese passion. I need to admit they were very understanding about this. They were regularly going out with me for sushi but there was nothing else they could do for me. At least I thought so. But then 1 day my friend told me about oriental wallpaper he noticed in a shop. At the beginning I didn’t know what oriental wallpaper means but I decided to go with my friend to this shop to check it up. As soon as I saw it I just knew it was perfect for me. It was simply gorgeous. What my colleague showed me was a wallpaper with amazing patterns on it. Nonetheless, that was not some banal patterns (check out more). For instance, on the flowers wallpaper there was a cherry blossom. I assume you are aware that this is widely recognized a symbol of Japan. Thus, I believe that you can imagine how happy I was when I saw it! Between tons of other wallpapers, I have chosen also another oriental wallpaper, with Japanese landscape which I was missing so badly. I know it sounds amazing that I was lucky to find accurately what I was hoping for. But believe me – modern wallpapers have nearly each pattern you could think of. And even if not, you could design your own wallpaper that would have pattern you long for! I not only bought 2 wallpapers I saw, but also ordered the third one which I wanted to have in my room.

As a result of that, walls in my apartment enable me to feel like I am still in Japan. It is so much greater than just plain, uninteresting walls I used to have in my room before. In consequence, if you are obsessed with something so much as I was haunted by Japan, I would suggest to think about using wallpapers! It could enable you fill your apartment with the atmosphere of the place you are longing for – is flowers wallpaper a good idea?.
