If we want to dig a little bit deeper in this topic, all of us should give attention to the mining machines. Why? It’s cause mining industry is filled with such spectacular items. One of those is Bagger 293 – extremely powerful machine, found in Germany and used in the coal mine. This particular monster is ninety six meters high and 225 meters tall and it demands five people to run it. What is extremely interesting, it is not a stationary machine – this monster can ride, but because of its sizing and weight the velocity is merely 0,5 km/h.
Another one – called Overburden Bridge F60, happens to be the world’s biggest machine which moves on its own. Here is the kicker – it is 60 meters high, five hundred two meters long and two hundred forty meters wide! Can you imagine such giant? It is just mind blowing, right? And as we noted earlier, it can ride on its own – the speed is only 0,78 km/h, though. This machine is used as a conveyor in one of the German open air mines.
